The
Harp is what an Irish pub is all about. A place to meet with your friends,
have a meal, or simply read the daily newspaper whilst enjoying a pint.
The
Harp Irish Pub began when an Irish native, Ray Connolly, decided that
it was about time that Atlanta could visit a better Irish pub.
|
Our
pub was built using authentic Irish materials. The interiors were
designed and built in the spirit of Ireland by skilled craftsmen while
many of the furniture and fittings came from old Irish roots, stately
homes and even abandoned churches. |
| This
attention to detail, combined with an atmosphere of relaxation and
enjoyment has made The Harp a natural place to spend an evening, whether
with old friends or to meet new ones. Couple all this to the excellent
friendly service that an Irish barman provides, and you can now understand
the secret of our success. |

So
started The Harp Irish Pub, right in the city of Roswell, very close to
Atlanta. The Harp was an instant success catering for both a local and
business traveler clientele. The pub enjoys great success and has added
to the local community by showing the best that Ireland has to offer.

So
if you happen to live in Roswell, or are just simply passing through,
be sure to stop by The Harp Irish Pub. It's no boast to say that once
you've been here you'll definitely come back.

The
somber, relaxed ambience and friendly characters keep with European
tradition. Harp is more open and airy than most conventional Irish
pubs, but dark paneled walls, stained glass, and enclosed booths
lend a cozy atmosphere. Intellectual types, local business owners
and those with discerning tastes make up the crowd; if the young
don't find fun here, their older siblings and parents will.
There
aren't a lot of independent bars in Roswell, and this one wins on
all fronts: great crowd, good food and eclectic music. Harp offers
a hearty menu of Irish basics such as fish-and-chips, smoked salmon
and beef and Guinness pie. For those in search of something lighter,
there's also salads and sandwiches. The free live music on Fridays
and Saturdays ranges from traditional Irish fiddling to upbeat folk-rock.

If you are in search of an authentic Irish Pub, than Harp is the
place. A local friend suggested I meet her there whilst I was visiting
Atlanta. Being of Irish ancestry (who isn't these days) and a 15
year rugby player, it seemed only appropriate.
The
owners have taken great pain in making one feel that they are truly
in Ireland (the owners are from Ireland). Don't be fooled by the
strip mall location. The menu looked delicious with much authentic
Irish fair. The Guinness was cold, on tap, and in genuine pint ale
glasses. The only thing missing was the blarney stone although there
was plenty of blarney to go around. I will definitely return to
the Harp on my next trip to Atlanta.

Top 9 St. Patrick's Day Celebrations in Atlanta
Located
in Roswell, this is another great "Outside The Perimeter"
location for St. Patrick's Day revelers that don't want to have
to drive into Atlanta to celebrate. It's also a great locale for
a slightly older crowd to take in the St. Patrick's Day festivities.
